Initial Concept
CEO/President Mary Nielsen founded the initial concept for 2 Friend’s Design back in the spring of 2007 after listening to a sermon at her local church.  Little did she know at the time how this sermon would set the foundation for not only this new venture, but for a life change on how she herself would view and live her life.

One of the verses studied during that sermon was from the book of Romans.  It was Romans 12:2, which says, “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”  The pastor was making his points on how to apply this truth to ones life, especially living within our media driven, self-absorbed world of today.  This lesson soon began to resonate within Mary’s heart and mind, and gave her the strength to look beyond her current situation, leading her to question exactly what God’s will was for her and how she could make a difference by sharing His word with others.

2 Friend’s Design Comes to Life
Mary approached her friend and past business associate of eleven years, Kathy Williams, VP & Executive Creative Director, with her concept.  Drawing upon their past experiences within the photographic industry, both Mary and Kathy put their talents together and officially incorporated 2 Friend’s Design, Inc. in June of 2008.  Together they have created an innovative line of inspirational fine art prints and gift products with the purpose of Spreading God’s Word Through Art.  Their work is quickly becoming known for its dramatic imagery and sense of cohesiveness from verse through art that hasn’t been seen within the inspirational gift market.
